Festivals
At festivals Shen puts these hand made hoops out for the enjoyment of all, young and old. She performs throughout the festival, dancing to the music with one to several hoops. Her hoops are for sale and priced between $10 and $40 ranging from small untaped ones to large intricate, custom made designs.

Workshop at a local daycare.
Schools
These new hoops provide a fun, easily learned exercise, quickly picked up by all students. Alotta Hoopla now makes these hoops available to all schools. I offer a range of experiences from simple demonstrations to full class activities creating hoops and learning the techniques of their use. Hoops are supplied for the event and are also offered for sale to the schools or to individuals. They are durable enough to last for many years making them a good investment.

Parties, events, private instruction.
When hired for an event I make the experience an interactive one in which everyone gets to participate. All are guaranteed to have a great time.

Shen has been described by many as- Captivating, mesmorizing, hypnotizing, beautiful, phenomenal, amaizing, unbelievalble and inspirational.

Night hoops, noisy hoops, light hoops, heavy hoops - There is a hoop in your future.

Available for activities in area schools,
performances, parties, classes, weddings,
fairs, retreats, or an event of your choosing.

What's all the hoopla?

We all remember the craze of the Hula Hoop (® Whamo). Well times have changed and so have the hoops. Alotta Hoopla's hoops are now bigger, weighted, and easier to use than their predecessors of the 50's. They are also more colorful and more durable. The rebirth of interest created by the versatility of these new hoops seems to have begun on the west coast and I am pleased to be making them available here in the east. The new techniques that can be accomplished with these hoops are mesmerizing to watch and a great deal of fun to execute. The larger size allows for slower, more controlled activity. Working with the hoop develops body coordination, balance, and rhythm. It is an all around great exercise.

I have been creating and performing with these hoops for over three years. My main goal has been to share the experience of these new hoops with as many folks as I can. Throughout the summer I have been making the hoops available at fairs and festivals in the region. The response has been terrific. Young and old are rediscovering the joy of movement.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments on this exciting new art or to inquire about purchasing one of my Hooplas.
